WWII M31 German Canteen Unit Marked Named
Item: GM3263

WWII German M31 canteen.  It has all the leather straps which are in good pliable condition.  Cap is marked JSD 35.  Under side of the cap strap is stamped "1 Abt Flak-Regt 5".  Canteen body is aluminum and maker marked ZPSTZ 39.   Wool felt body has a few small moth nips on back and center two button do not fasten due to shrinkage. It has a cloth tag made out to the same Flak unit and named to "Kanonier Seebauer".
